With the popularity of online tax lien investing sales, many are looking into states that offer such convenience in buying properties at the comfort of their own home. One of these states is Colorado, in which some of its counties conduct online tax lien sales each year.
The interest rates in Colorado for liens are one percent above prime, and premium is paid for it. Tax sales in Colorado are held every November. In the month of September, the interest rates for the tax lien certificates are determined in advance of the sale. Do remember that any premium paid for the tax liens are going to reduce the interest rate when the liens redeem.
